Double-Sided Dematting Comb

For the knots a regular brush can't get through. This double-sided comb has stainless steel teeth on both sides of the head: one side to work through mats and tangles, the other to thin out loose undercoat. The teeth have rounded tips, and the comb has a comfortable grip handle.

How to Use

• Start with the side that has fewer teeth to gently work into a knot
• Switch to the denser side to remove loose undercoat
• Comb in the direction of hair growth with short, gentle strokes. Hold the fur near the skin when working on a mat
• Pull the hair off the teeth and rinse the comb when you're done

Choose your size

• Large: head about 3.5 in (9 cm) wide. Medium to large dogs and fluffy cats
• Small: head about 2.6 in (6.5 cm) wide. Cats, small dogs, and tight spots like ears and legs
• Both are about 6.9 in (17.5 cm) long

Good to Know

• Material: stainless steel teeth, plastic handle
• Go slowly on mats and never pull hard. Very tight or close-to-skin mats are best left to a groomer
• Stop if your pet's skin looks red or irritated
